As a Belgian–Palestinian cultural platform, we work through engaged design from Palestine, supporting the livelihoods of makers, amplifying their voices, and strengthening international solidarity — not only to survive the present, but to imagine and shape what comes next. The moral vacuum we’ve witnessed since October 2023, and the ongoing horror it has laid bare, compels us to act, gather, and create with renewed urgency and determination.
With the move behind us, our focus now shifts towards sustaining movement in practice: hosting workshops and gatherings, developing new collections, supporting exchanges with partners such as Birzeit University, and maintaining a visible, street-level presence for Palestinian design in the city.

As a small non-profit with a voluntary team, we operate on minimal margins to ensure that nearly all revenue goes to makers on the ground in Palestine. Thanks to you, our allies, we’re able to cover the costs of our new studio. Your support contributes directly to fostering resilience, imagination, and hope.
If you supported us in 2025, THANK YOU. Your generosity made our move possible, and your ongoing support is essential as we transform the studio into a sustainable infrastructure for cultural and political resistance.
Help us continue to disarm the occupation through thought-provoking design and collective practice.
Your contribution helps us:
→ Host participatory gatherings in central Brussels
→ Build and sustain a permanent public showcase of Palestinian designs in a street-level window gallery
→ Provide more storage and presentation opportunities for our products, allowing for greater distribution and impact
→ Continue our mission to disarm the occupation through engaged design

More than ever, Palestinian narratives must be heard — honestly and unapologetically. Culture is not a luxury. It’s political. It’s how we resist, connect, imagine, and rebuild. Our new studio is more than a workspace—it is a site of presence, imagination, and collective care.
The studio is located at Place du Samedi, in a protected 1920s building on the fourth floor. Our permanent gallery is visible to the public on the street level. We share the studio space with other cultural makers and community organizers working to build a more just and livable world.
Join us in 2026. Sustain the movement in practice.
In solidarity and gratitude,
The Disarming Design Team
